My Xmas Hols
Sat:
Sun:
Went to Changi Village to eat breakfast. Between dd and I, we had Chicken Chop Hor Fan, minced meat noodles, and paper-wrapped chicken. the Chicken Chop Hor Fan had 5 makansultra chopsticks on it leh. The minced meat noodles also have a "U" channel recommendation on it. Overall the paper-wrapped chicken and the chicken chop hor fan is nice to eat lah.
Next we went to Changi beach to walk walk, saw alot of people fishing then dd became interested in the fish the other people caught. Haha
DD wan to eat "Mei Chai Kou Rou" at Shunfu road which is near Bishan so she ask me to drive there.Next we went to Bishan Junction 8. DD sleep throughout the whole journey luckily I managed to find a way there myself haha. Nothing new at Junction 8, just walk around the place to see the new stuffs there. Then we decided to go Chomp Chomp (Serangoon Gardens) for lunch (haha dd change her mind again) When we reached there, chomp chomp still not opened yet so we had lunch at the nearby Serangoon gdn FC which is opp chomp chomp.
Had Carrot cake, bean curd and fried dumplings for lunch(actually I am quite full after the breakfast) so I also never eat much.
Then dd received a call from her dad saying that his bus had broken down and want us to fetch him n dd's mum to SengKang.. so we drove there to Seng Kang and then I took TPE-PIE then to dd's house. DD was sleeping all the way, wah from Seng Kang to Ghim Moh really far leh... or it's the fact that we took PIE which is longer..?
Wah sun travel very long distance, I come back also tired from the whole day's driving... total 130+ km travelled today,1/8 of petrol gone also haha. Been to quite alot of places eh?

Last Weekend before Christmas
Sat:
went to NAFA kindergarden Open house, then later drove to Ubi for tiniting sunshine's windows...dd orginally wanted to choose charcoal black for the rear windows but then found out that we can't tint all the windows, windscreen and front windows must be clear else will fail LTA inspection. Then in the end dd chose blue cos don't wan to be too contrasting else look very funny and dd think the blue color looks nice..cos front window and rear window different shades haha. Now tint liao dd think not dark enuff got tint like no tint like that...haha hard to please right?
then we went to Bedok food center for dinner.Ate Hokkien Mee and carrot cake.. dd say both nice...but finding a carpark there is a real headache...alot of cars and alot of ppl...waiting for carpark already take long time..make my dd so hungry until she very pek chek...Grrr...
We orginally planned to go swimming in sun morn, but alas the weather doesn't look that good...cloudy and look like it's gonna rain anytime... so the flexible monkdees changed their schedule for the day and decided to visit Mt Faber in little sunshine(Kia Picanto).
Found their way to Mt faber after making a few wrong turns and overshoots, and rechecking their maps at Seah Im Rd FC carpark. Little Sunshine have to huff and puff it's way up the hilly road(actually not that steep) as it has a small "heart(engine)" so pumping is abit on the weaker side haha. capacity only abt 1.1l. nevertheless still managed to get to the summit.(according to my friend, his lancer can't climb up on "D" mode). Yeah little sunshine!
Very nice view of telok blangah, sentosa, and World Trade Center(not the new york one) from the summit...took some pics then came down again.
Next went to East point because dd wanted to get a collar for ronnie to hook his new license.Journey there was smooth cos we went there before, parked in a rather small parking lot near the "exit" slope...but dd can't decide on one for ronnie cos there aren't many nice nice collars there and further more we don't know ronnie's neck size. so too bad, decided to go another place for lunch and get the collar from elsewhere.
Decided to go Old Airport Rd for lunch.
Met with 2 little incidents along the way from east point to Old Airport rd, see my blog(tis blog for dds, not for incidents) for details haha
Had Wanton Mee and Fried Kway Tiao for lunch... haha then can't find our way back, not familiar with that area. Oh Ya and we bought durian cakes and tarts back. We had Durian pudding ourselves for dessert. dd say the pudding nice...
Anyway we anyhow move managed to drive through Geylang to Suntec and back.Clever right?
Rest a while then brought Ronnie for his training and then bring him for grooming...Bought a new year doggie shirt for him.. looks cute on that naughty fella on ya and found a collar for him at the grooming shop...
Think dd will post the pics we took today at a later time...

"The sky's Falling!"
Had my 1st experience at parallel parking (w/o instructor and parking poles) yesterday, although managed to get in after several atempts(luckily didn't take too long time). but I guess I can do much better...over-zealous forgot wat my driving instructor's instructions to me for parallel parking outside so anyhow park, anyhow turn steering... next time if I encounter another parallel parking situation, will improve... hahad2 before setting off
Next we made our way to Marina Square(cos parking is cheaper there $1.5 per entry) to watch Chicken little yeah "The Sky's falling" haha...The show was alright, basically talking abt father-child relationship but I feel it's abit too short...1.5hrs only minus away the commercials I think only 1hr 10 mins only.dds at GV marina(poor lighting)
After the show , walked around the mall looking for nice food for lunch...then stumbled into a bridal shop called "bridal zone"(actually is dd wan to go tat area see see look look). A staff there called "Ted" is quite good, very friendly and never pester us to "book" the package like other shops and the best thing is he's very honest with us...never exaggerate abt his own product nor speak ill of other shops. Like his style of "marketing" haha somemore earned 2 bottles of mineral water...
After tat talk, went to "imperial Treasure La Mian" for lunch...dd likes to eat la mian ...tat place looks like crystal jade resturant, even the menu and the dishes on it looks similar...later than we found out that the boss is formerly from crystal jade tat's the reason for the similarity...Ate the la mian, soup dumplings (tang bao) and a red bean-banana desert..Overall the food there is quite nice actually nicer than crystal jade...u'll can go visit there next time...
