Happy Sunday

Another happy sunday with dd, dunno why but after starting working, kinda look forward more to weekends, and meething dd... Actually something I do find it hard to comprehend tat the 2 of us can stick together for so long, to many ppl, our character is totally different.. I guess this is all fate bah... haha Oh well

I think today is the latest time we ate breakfast haha not because I am late but it because we cannot decide on a place to eat, and when we did the place dun have a parking lot... went to cct rd at 1st to see what we can eat there, but when we reach there, the stores are mostly closed, so we tried to go to the market there but we can't find a parking lot... it doesen't help that this morning is raining... Then we decided to go another place... just anyhow drive then somehow or the other went to Bedok FC to eat...

Coffee and Milo(cos I dun wan to take in too much cafine)

Next we went to Eastpoint(also dunno where to go anyhow drive reached there one) to do some window shopping... haha but nv buy anything lah...

Then went to Marina Sq to watch "Over the Hedge" cos dd got a GV voucher, buy 1 ticket, get 1 ticket free mah... quite funny the animated film (not cartoon ok)...

While waiting for the show we went to "dian xiao er" to eat our lunch .... dd say she missed the roast duck... hehe

After the movie we went to optical88 to make a new set of spectacles, we both choose sovil titus for our frame but dd chose the transistion lens, I didn't cos I am too short sighted liao thus the transistion lens will be more ex for me...so I took the normal high index lens... total damage:
$318 for mine, and $315 for dd... grrh spectacles getting more ex also ...last time me make only $198... Like a flesh taken out frm me like tat.. how I wish is the real flesh so can b abit lighter and slimmer mah haha.. hmm can my fats be exchanged for cash? haha

Another Weekend...

Another Busy weekend...
This saturday is dd brother's commisioning parade means he has finally finished part of his training and gg to be a 2Lt haha... The fun is just starting .... hehe

we took alot of pics there at the parade, and dd also took a video clip ..but then the job of turing the clip into DVD falls into my hands...very tedious job. Have to transfer the clip from the DV-Cam into PC, then join the 2 clips together(cos 1 cassette is not enough) finally transcode into DVD...entire process took nearly 1 day or 12hours... later then found out the joined video have no sound... grrr... gotta start all over again..

Sunday we went to Bt Merah for breakfast, ate alot of stuffs super full...

Then after that we went to bugis to the kwan Yin Temple to pray as well as thank god for the blessings given...
Later we proceed to the John little Mega Expo Sale wah spend alot of $$ there..bought 3 shirts, a box of briefs and socks all in preparation for work commencing next week.

then we headed to ChinaTown to sell away our spare camera bag and then had lunch at Pearl...

Weekend with our new baby

Busy weekend cos of a new addition to the monkdees family...our new nikon D50 camera (dd must be thrilled, finally gotta own a good camera upgraded from compact cameras) haha
Went to AMK on Saturday to buy , then went to Pasir farmway to buy some stuffs for ronnie..
see pics posted earlier by dd...

Sun :

went to upper thomson rd to have roti prata at "the prata house" boast that they have the best crispy roti prata in town...

Verdict: Prata taste ok but I think abit too crispy liao more like pancake...the Sin Ming Rd one I think still better more like prata.

Then we went to the HSBC treetop trail to take pics using our new baby.. haha tired trek for dd hehe...

Then went to Thomson plaza after the trek to have a drink cos it's VERY HOT outside...after tat we proceed to the PC show at suntec (dd say got some "official" things to do)..bought a 1GB SD card $34 only... cheap?

had lunch at "just noodles" at the basement of suntec . I had the drunken chicken noodle and dd had the teriyaki chicken noodles + spinach beancurd

Verdict: noodles so-so only, service very poor..waiter/waitress seems to be non-existant have to wait quite a long time to b able to take order. but once order is sent, the food arrive fairly quickly. Free flow of beverage : coffee/ice peach tea/Orange juice

I think that everyone out there who have a loved ones will have their very own love story to tell of how they met with their darlings as for us we prefer to refer ourselves "Dear Dear".So "A tale of 2 Dears" is just to give a account of our love story from how we met to how we became wat we are now. Dear1's Diary

May 1999

I had just finished my 2nd year examinations in Singapore Polytechnic and during the holidays, I am suppose to be doing my ITP which is also my final year project(Robotic pet dog) in campus. When I got to the lab I found out that there was another group of students who were going to do this project with us. My beloved Dear 2 was one of the students in the other group. At that time neither of us knew who the other was. In fact I do not even know her name then it was after a few weeks later that she introduced herself to us(me and my groupmates) that I got to know her. Little did I know that this is the start of a beautiful relationship.

June 1999

We have been working on the project for about a month now,but have not been making much headthrough. However my friendship with her seem to get better as we spend more time together in the lab. I began to develop a crush for her however this crush quickly subsided when I found out that she actually had a boyfriend. so things when back to usual.I do not know whether it was fate at work or wat but we got back our results at the end of the month and she was posted to the same course and class as me.

July 1999

School reopens and we head back to our books, both of us were in the same class. As she does not have any friends in the class she kinda found herself tagging me and my friends. So at lectures and tutorials she would sit beside me as I am her only friend then. We began to understand each other more as we spend more time together.

August 1999

She confided in me that her boyfriend had left her when I saw that she was quite distraught during classes.Being helpful and as a friend I console her and told her to forget that heartless chap. However at this point of time I still did not feel anything other than pity for her(Honest!). She quickly got over her painful relationship though(mabbe due to my companionship?, haa haa) anyway we still went to the lab quite often as we had to work on our project. We sort of got closer to each other and we developed a way of communicating during lectures and tutorials-by writing replies and questions on little sheets of papers. By this time around due to the fact that we were spending much time together, my friends began to make fun of us saying that we were a pair. However i simply brush these remarks aside.

September 1999

We often went out during breaks together. Sometimes in campus and sometimes out to shopping centers. My feelings for her were buried somewhere deep within me, waiting to be discovered.

October 1999

One day she wrote something on the piece of paper(actual content is secret) which I regarded as a hint, I could have hinted to her but I was a very shy boy so in the end, she had to take the initiative. I have always enjoy a strictly platonic relationship with my female peers when I was in secondary school so I sort of "inherited" that kind of behavior into polytechnic and tease and joke with her like what I did in secondary school. After that little sentence she said I went hope and though carefully and deeply. I ask myself whether I do feel anything for her and the answer is "Yes" I do like her but I am not sure whether my feelings is real or not as I have never been in a relationship before so where feelings is concern I am a rookie.Anyway I asked her one night whether she meant what she said and whether she is willing to give me a chance. she did not give me a definite answer but I think her answer is "Yes". I walked her home the next day this is the 1st time I walked her home and only the second time I walk gals home(the 1st was with a netfriend coz it's dark). I wanted to hold her hand but I was afraid that she would reject my approach so I did not do it but chit chat with her for the entire journey. Then exam arrive.

November 1999

After the exams, we,together with a few friends decided to have lunch together to sort of celebrate the end of exams. After the meal, we went for a walk around the city area, I wanted to hold her hand so badly so finally at a CD shop I pluck up my courage and ask her to and she did hold my hands. After that I never wanted to let go even till now... Finally we were together,the day was 6th of November...it's the start of a new begining and I hope that I never had to let go of her hand that was so dear to me...
